doas is a OpenBSD equivalent to sudo in Linux.

To configure it for your current system user to execute all commands without password as root create /etc/doas.conf and the following line:

permit nopass keepenv username as root

Use persist in place of nopass to request the password initially but not for any more consecutive commands in the current session.

If root account is allowed to SSH in, now it's a good time to disable it.
